Alphonso Mango Icecream - Fresh and Natural Summer Goodness





Summer time is always a mango time. Though I hate summers, but only mangoes make it bearable for me. Mango ice-cream can be the best dessert when mangoes are in season. There are wide varieties of mangoes available in market. Alphonso mangoes are one of the best variety of mangoes can be used in making dessert. The flavor of ripe alphonso mangoes complements best with condensed milk to make a creamy and soft mango ice-cream. This natural ice-cream recipe is prepared with only three ingredients. Yes, only 3 ingredients that is fresh mango, fresh cream and condensed milk. It easy and simple yet heavenly delicious. If you are a mango lover, do try in this summer and enjoy its rich flavor and true taste.



INGREDIENTS
  • Alphonso Mangoes - 3 nos. (Can any variety of mangoes can be used)
  • Chilled Fresh cream - 1 cup
  • Condensed milk - 1 cup 
  • Cherry - To garnish (totally optional)
 

 METHOD

  • Peel mangoes and cut it into cubes.
  • Blend it into a mixer to a smooth puree.
  • Then add in chilled fresh cream and condensed milk into the mango puree. Blend everything well till the mixture is smooth in texture.
  • Pour the mixture into a shallow aluminum container. Cover the container with an aluminum foil and freeze till the ice-cream for 6 hours or till an ice-cream is semi set.
  • Pour the semi set ice-cream mixture into a mix and blend till the mixture is smooth
  • Transfer the mixture back into the same container. Cover the container with an aluminum foil and freeze till the ice-cream is completely set.
  • Lastly Garnish with cherries serve chilled.
