Berry Tirmisu Using Lotte Chocopie

  

Finally Navratri 2020 is here .Wishing you all a Happy Navratri...
Let's make this Navratri 2020 more special and innovative by making a super delicious dessert called Berry tiramisu using Lotte Chocopie. Berry tiramisu is influenced from original tiramisu by using berry sauce instead of coffee syrup.

It is any very easy recipe with some preparation. The chocolate and berries make the best combo. In this recipe I have replaced mascarpone cheese with cream cheese. There was no much difference in the taste. Serving this dessert into individual glass can be the best idea but you can always go ahead and make it in the glass pan or tray.. So let’s start this super delicious and mouthwatering dessert

 Ingredients  

Serves - 2

  • Choco pie – 4 nos
  • Berry sauce - ½ cup (semi thin, as we will be dipping Choco pie into it)
  • Tiramisu filling – 1 cup
  • Chocolate shavings – to garnish
  • Choco pie (cut into half) – to garnish

 

To Make Berry Sauce

Ingredients

  • Mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) - 1 cup, chopped
  • Lemon juice – 2 tsp
  • Brown sugar – 2 tbsp

Method

  • Combine chopped mixed berries, lemon juice and brown sugar into a pot and place it on the flame.
  • Stir well .Let everything cook for some time.
  • When you see sugar completely dissolving and mixture getting thicker. Turn off the flame.
  • Do not overcook the sauce, as we want sauce in semi thin consistency.
  • Let the berry sauce cool down before using it in the tiramisu.

 

To Make Tiramisu Filling

  • Cream cheese – ½ cup (cream cheese is the best alternative for mascarpone cheese)
  • Whipped cream – 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence – ½ tsp 
Method
  • Whisk cream cheese and powdered sugar together into smooth mixture.
    Then mix in whipped cream and vanilla essence. Fold everything together using a spatula.

 

Assembling and Layering Berry Tiramisu using Lotte Choco pie

  • Slice the Choco pie into halves. Its fine to keep marshmallow filling intact with Choco pie or you can completely remove it. It is your choose.
  • I served this tiramisu into individual glasses. You can do this way or you can assemble it in the tray. Again it is your choose.
  • Dip sliced Choco pie in the berry sauce. Let them soak in the berry sauce till they become moist.
  • Take a glass, place one slice of Choco pie into the glass.
  • Spread around 2 tbsp of cream cheese filling on Choco pie.
  • Place another dipped Choco pie on the filling.
  • Spread cream cheese filling over it.
  • End the filling of the glass by placing berry dipped Choco pie
  • Seal the tiramisu glass with a foil and place it in refrigerator for at least 2 to 3 hour.
  • Once tiramisu is all set, garnish it with some chocolate shavings and extra Choco pie.
  • Here we go Berry Tiramisu Using Choco pie is ready.
