Trending Pinata Cake

Finally I am here with Trending Piñata Cake. This 3 D heart shaped cake is taken internet by a storm. I have been watching so many pictures and videos of Pinata cakes and today I am very happy to share my version of this lovely cake.

Valentine Day was the right occasion for me to make this gorgeous cake. The outcome was truly amazing and I was blessed to get the best piñata cake in my very first attempt.

INGREDIENTS

  • White Compound Chocolate – 180 gm
  • Pinata Cake Mould
  • Filling for the cake – I surprised my family with homemade chocolates and milky bar

METHOD

  • Let’s start with the recipe by making the shell of the Pinata Cake.
  • Chop the white compound chocolate and melt it, till it completely becomes smooth and lump free.
  • Pour the melted chocolate into the heart shaped cake mould and swirl it so that the chocolate covers all the edges and corners of the cake mould.
  • Remove off the excess chocolate from the mould  and refrigerate the mould for 10 to 12 minutes until the chocolate sets completely.
  • Once the first layer of the chocolate sets, pour remaining melted chocolate and swirl it to cover all the edges and corners of the mould.
  • Take care to cover the edges of the mould with the chocolate; you can use brush to apply some extra chocolate around the edges.
  • Refrigerate the mould for another 10 minutes.
  • After the second layer of the chocolate sets, carefully peel the white chocolate shell from the mould. Always try to peel the shell from the broader part of the cake mould.
  • Once the chocolate shell is out of the mould, decorate it with beautiful chocolate flower as it did or you can keep the decoration easy by just drizzling some melted chocolate and some sprinkles.
  • Filling of the cake can be of your choice. Some ideas can be brownies, cakes, chocolates or some surprise gifts too.
  • I kept some homemade chocolates which are my family’s favorite.
  • Here we go Trending Pinata Cake is ready to go.
