Tandoori Soya Chaap Tikka

Spiced Skewered Grilled Starters are loved by everyone. If I want to list them, there are countless recipes can be prepared with non veg ingredients. But when it comes to vegetarian starter option, you will find few of the them with limited item like paneer or any type of veggies. To add in the list of veg starter, soya chaap not only takes the place in vegetarian category also makes the best alternative for non vegetarian lover too.

Soya Chaap is tasteless by itself but makes the great difference in taste when mixed with spicy flavored yogurt, placed on skewers and grilled to its best taste.

This was the first time I was trying this recipe. Earlier I had tasted it outside when we were in Delhi, but never tried it at home. Recaping  the story, one week back I had told my husband to order the grocery list which was given by me. Without analysing much he placed the order . Blunder was noticed when items was delivered. This did not shocked me as I always wanted to try recipe of soya chaap but never bother to give a try by myself.  The recipe turned out to be super delicious and was appreciated by everyone. Now onwards it will a routine to pick soya chaap tin on every grocery shopping.

This recipe can be made in oven or on regular tava. Both ways taste better. I tried with on tava method, which makes the recipe more easy and convenient. And that extra punch from lemon juice and dash of  chaat masala makes the recipe divine. If you haven't tried, please do it and I promise you will love it.
